WHAT YOU’LL DO
Creative Thought Leadership
- Develops a basic understanding of client's business, brand, industry, and target consumers, using this knowledge to offer integrated, multi-channel campaign ideas that meet client business needs
- Remains current on marketing, design, technology, language, and cultural trends, and infuses this knowledge into all creative work
- Brings unconventional thinking and innovation to the work
Communication & Storytelling
- Writes, presents, and communicates in a polished, articulate, and persuasive manner across all mediums, internally and externally
- Listens well, building relationships internally and externally through respect and responsiveness
- Begins to learn and understand the agency business model, structure, and offerings, and how they come together in service of a client partner's business needs
- Communicates well with internal colleagues to explain creative ideas and respond to questions or concerns
Concepting
- Actively participates in creative ideation for digital & social content, event activations, brand identity systems, print materials, and other campaign elements
- Partners effectively with others to uphold diversity of thought, integration, and collaboration across disciplines
- Works to refine ideas into fully integrated program concepts that drive business impact and deliver against defined objectives
- Ensures that ideas/concepts fit together as part of the broader strategy and brand identity
Execution / Making
- Demonstrates accountability and ownership for all creative work on assigned projects
- Incorporates feedback and direction from senior team members and collaborates with them to evolve and elevate the work
- Copywriting: Assists senior team members with writing of creative platforms, manifestos, digital/social copy, and other copy for presentations and final execution

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, English, journalism, communications or related field and/or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years prior experience in a creative, advertising, or marketing agency setting, inclusive of internships
- A strong portfolio or writing samples demonstrating range across brand voice and tone
- Active on social media and knowledgeable about the latest platforms and content trends
- Interested in the impact brand marketing can have on various segments of culture
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking, and time-management
- Writes in a clear, articulate, and persuasive manner, adapting voice and tone across platforms, including social media
- Team player who enjoys working with and helping others in a collaborative environment
- Curious and open to others' ideas and viewpoints with a willingness to learn and take constructive feedback
- A good problem solver who seeks to make improvements and learns from mistakes
- Must reside in the New York Metro area and be able to commute to our Manhattan office as needed
